The Natural Carer – nature and compassion in end of life care
When someone is nearing the end of life, we want to help them in the best way we can. We want to be there for them. We want to know what to say, or how to be comfortable in the silence of unknowingness. We want to create connection.
Caring for someone at the end of life is one of the most profound things you will ever do. And it isn't always easy. But it can be beautiful.
The Natural Carer Workshop helps you find different ways of connecting and equips you with ideas and methods that can transform the way we can care for others, and ourselves.
This one-day workshop looks at:
Paperwork for peace of mind – Power of attorney, advance care directives, wills
Book of Wishes – capturing how we wish to be cared for at a deeper level of soul, emotion and spirit
Communication skills – the art of compassionate communication
Non-verbal communication – working with energy
Bringing Nature into the Room – plant essences, visualisation and other nature-based ways of helping navigate the end of life transition
What is active dying? – understanding what happens as the body dies
After death – choices for farewells
The workshop runs from 9.30 – 4.00pm
Saturday 13 August, 2022
Lunch and refreshments are provided
Discounts will be available to attendees for Archeus products, books and other offerings.

“It would be impossible to ever plumb the depths of Georgina’s knowledge in natural healing and the ways of the universe; attending one of her courses is like diving into a vast and unfathomable ocean. You will never be the same once you have done a course with Georgina and one course will never be enough.”

She has been offering training in non-medical end of life care and nature-based ways to supporting health and wellbeing. Her Natural Carer online training in end-of-life care has graduates in New Zealand and the USA and includes palliative care nurses, therapists and family members wanting
to find ways of caring for loved ones. She is invited to teach here and overseas. Covid has meant that this is the first in person workshop for The Natural Carer training and she looks forward to connecting with people at the
workshop.
